Busan Fireworks Festival 2015

The Busan International Fireworks Festival is a free annual event held at Gwangalli Beach at the beginning of fall. The festival is a massive event complete with fireworks, lasers, live music, and lots of free seating right on the beach.
This year, the event was held on October 23rd and was absolutely packed. Many people flock to the beach early (at least 4 hours prior) to get a good plot of sand and to pregame with a little soju or beer. The main event usually starts around 6 or 7, so there’s lots of time during the day to get comfy and play card games with friends. If you’re not too keen on the idea of huddling on a crowded beach for the show, there’s always the option of watching from one of the surrounding mountains. The mountain view is probably the best for photographers on the hunt for a good place to perch with their cameras.

It’s got to be one of my favorite festivals held in Busan, and I recommend a visit if it’s possible!
After all, who doesn’t like free entertainment? Busan, you done good.
