Seoul with Sara!

Dear Seoul,
Thanks for being wonderful, despite being really confusing. I’ll be back, and this time I promise to keep myself from being tempted by Satan (Taco Bell, H&M, and Forever 21).
Thanks to a long weekend, a wonderfully cheap train system, cheap taxis, and an equally affordable hostel, Sara and I were able to explore Seoul on a budget any college student would happily get behind.
Our trip started on Thursday night when we caught the cheap train (Mugunghwa) from Busan to Seoul. Book tickets here. We arrived at our adorable hostel early Friday morning. We got there sometime around 2 AM, which wasn’t expected, but completely our fault. Ever been locked in a subway exit because you can’t read “don’t enter” signs?  Being lost and ridiculously confused was a common theme.

While we were in Seoul, we visited the National Museum of Korea, wandered Itaewon, went to Lotte World,  explored Gyeongbukgong, and ate everything. I do promise to leave Taco Bell out of the equation the next time I go to Seoul, but geez. When mama wants grease and cheap meat, mama actively seeks it out and devours it.
